Pocketnest among 11 other startups in Google for Startups Accelerator Program
Pocketnest just graduated the Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders.
Pocketnest, alongside 11 other startups, was selected to participate in the coveted Google for Startups accelerator program, based on our readiness for the program, our use of AI/ML to solve business challenges, and a specific technical challenge that Google mentorship and advisorship could help us progress.
Throughout the 10-week program, the Pocketnest team spoke with expert mentors—employed by Google—in AI, app development, mobile communications, digital marketing, leadership, and more.
During these trainings and one-on-one mentorship opportunities, the Pocketnest team learned better and smarter AI practices, proven leadership strategies and more innovative marketing initiatives.
As part of the Google accelerator, Jessica Willis, the Pocketnest CEO and founder pitched during Demo Day. Those among the audience were the Google mentors, the 11 fellow women founder colleagues in the Google for Startups 2021 cohort, and investors.
As a result, nearly 150 investors were interested in Pocketnest!
